I know I haven’t been posting often, but it has been busy busy busy on my corner especially with the holidays! Right now, I am in Vancouver, BC spending time with my mothers side of the family! I have not been back in about three years so I am really enjoying myself!
Anyway, another thing that kept me busy was my collaboration with amazing French blog, ByBaya. I have really loved working with Berenice to create amazing posts about fashion and fashion history.
The other week, we got the incredible opportunity to contribute an illustrated article for the 160th Anniversary of Le Bon Marche Rive Gauche! Berenice wrote a beautiful article (in French) about the history of the famous store and I had the pleasure of illustrating a few images portraying special edition items at Le Bon Marche as well as recognizable symbols of the famous Paris store.
Since they have put it up, I am going to show you guys some photos on L.S. Illustrated as well! Hope you like them!
GOOD NEWS FOR US ENGLISH SPEAKERS!

Hi everyone! I have been dying to share this news with you all and I finally get to spread the news! There is a new French fashion blog in town and I am the official illustrator!
Let me introduce you to, www.ByBaya.com! Based in Paris, ByBaya is the brain child of writer and fashionista, Berenice Foussard – Nakache. It talks about all aspects of fashion, from history, icons and trendsetters to items you just need to have! I am so DELIGHTED to be contributing!
It is written entirely in French, but hopefully, to those of you who don’t speak the language (like myself) will let the photos and illustrations speak for themselves! Plus, pretty much everything sounds better in French am I right?
Here are a few of the many illustrations I have contributed to By Baya!
It is officially cold in Madrid and all the fall colours are coming out to say hello!
I love the fall in this city for so many things! Mainly because it doesn’t really rain and it is quite sunny! :p
It is so pleasant to walk around and explore (I should make more time to do that!) Not too hot and not too cold…just perfect…Goldilocks would be a happy little blonde right now!
Not only that, it is the season where my electric bill is at an all time low! No heaters or A/C are needed to keep me cozy all through the night! I’m hoping it lasts for a while!
I will be posting some great fall lookbooks this season so stay tuned!
“A balanced diet is a slice of cake in each hand.”
Indeed it is! I would like to present to you all the new website of my dear friend and fabulous cake maker, Maria Dolonius! I was so delighted when she asked me to do the illustrations for this new venture of hers and had no doubt it would be super chic, simple and classy!
You can order a “Couture” Cake inspired by your favourite designer! She has already done an Alexander McQueen!
AND you can pick from flavours like Spiced Carrot and Lemon Poppyseed! I get fat thinking about it all!
So if any of you in the Philippines are having a party and need a great cake centerpiece, visit
Congratulations Maria! I hope the world gets to taste all your delicious goodies!

¨The Protons Project is the brainchild and labor of love of three positively charged individuals from various industries who came together one day and decided to say “Enough!”to all the bad news, false gossips, tensions and stresses that are inflicted in our society today. Although important to hear about current events and news, we would like to promote the Culture of Positivity in our generation in hopes of inspiring and changing the future.¨

One thing that I really wanted to make sure when I opened up my Etsy store, is that I wanted to give people work nice enough to put up on their walls.
Having said that, a piece of art, may it be a Warhol or a movie poster, adds the character to your space, and if you are paying for something and putting it up on your wall, you better be dang sure that you LOVE it, and most of all want to keep it there for a long period of time! Afterall, you are seeing it everyday right? That is where I thought I could step in!
I thought…well, how can I make a piece of art versatile enough so the person who has it doesn’t get tired of it after a few months? and how do I create something that lets the owner feel that they were part of the process?
So I created Four Eyes The first of my Puzzlepop designs. Four Eyes is basically four separate prints made to be hung together. The prints are already made, but it is up to the owner where, and most importantly how to hang them. Together, separate, vertical, horizontal, whatever! Then, if you want something new, switch them around!
I really have an affinity for this piece because, although the prints are digital and can be re-produced, the one who hangs it decides the unique way it is displayed!
You better be sure that I am going to do a few more of these!
Here are a few combinations that I thought of! What are yours?
